My Inner TV Critic

Making TV More Awesome

yay or nay: Pan-Am

iTunes offered the first 7 eps for free and being in love with TV and free things, I naturally downloaded them. I most likely would have continued on being blissfully unaware of this show, as despite Christina Ricci’s charms, I was not particularly drawn to it.

Now I’ve seen the pilot ep and I am unsure where I stand. Throwback outfits are great, but does the nostalgia bought up really reflect a better time? It also didn’t seem to hint at any intriguing relationships to come. I’ll give it a few more watches obvs, but I am not won over yet.

While I am a huge TV fan, and very loyal (I didn’t jump the Grey’s ship once), there are lines that can be crossed. Glee has pushed its plot points to beyond the limits of my overimagination. Them kids got pipes but I haven’t tuned in since “First Time” when Artie asks Coach Beast about her sex life. WTF.

Let me introduce My Inner TV Critic (or MITC).
MITC always has something to say about all the insane amounts of TV that she has consumed over the years. Often at odds with those around her who aren’t such tv fanatics, MITC hopes to share all this fun, exciting, and sometimes a bit A.D.D.-induced commentary with you.
